Best back to school pencils

My kids are a fan of using mechanical pencils and were excited about being able to test these ones out for the start of school. They are comfortable to use and write very clean, there was no scratch writing like other mechanical pencils and the eraser removes all of the markings very well. I think that Bic velocity mechanical pencils are superior to others on the market and I have bought and used quite a few!!! I also love the .7 lead because it does not easily break and it comes with extra lead and erasers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mechanical pencils are a hot commodity in our house. My daughter loves to draw and I love a pencil that doesn't need to be sharpened all the time. The BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils come in nice bright colors and work well. The erasers are nice and have a cap. They are refillable, both for erasers and for lead.

Little hands LOVE this pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a BZZ Agent, I was asked to try the Bic Velocity mechanical pencil. The little hands in my house LOVE this pencil! Besides being Bic branded which means it is great quality, it truly is the easiest pencil my son every used. The #2HB led is smooth and dark so he doesn't have to press hard to write. This helps hand fatigue and lets's him focus on the words not the writing. The mechanical push is easy to load the strong lead and the eraser is fantastic at clearly erasing the lead a- like it was never there. The larger soft grip barrel is easy to hold and write with. Like the regular Bic pencils, the lead can be retracted into the barrel when he is done using the pencil. And the best part, the 5 pencil pack had several bright colors (blue, yellow, orange, pink and purple) so my son can choose which one to use each time. These will definitely be in his back pack for the school year.

The pencil has an easy grip the Eraser erase is very well and has a nice little cap on it to keep it from falling off are from getting messed up.

I don't usually purchase mechanical pencils as I have always felt that the lead breaks too easily and therefore I tend to go through the extra lead quickly. Kids especially have always tended to press too hard and Snap-broken lead. I have to say I am impressed with how well they have stood up to the test of kids. And the bright colors make them even more fun to use. I will definitely be purchasing these in the future.

The kids love doodling and the adults love the smooth writing experience. And, everyone loves the bright colors! Nice strong lead;nothing is more annoying than when your pencil point breaks! With BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils , you don't have to worry about that happening! I keep one in my bag, and I don't have to worry about pens leaking and making a mess. They are great for academics,to keep by the phone when you want to jot down a number or a note, pop in the glove compartment ,etc. And, they would make GREAT stocking stuffers!
