Great for Kindergarten

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is starting kindergarten in a couple of days and he has never used any mechanical pencils before. Since we recieved the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils he has been interested in drawing pictures and just doodling on a notepad more. He thinks they are just the coolest thing ever. He has a variety of bright colors to choose from and being that they are #2 pencils he will be ready for school. A plus side to these are the fact it has the rubber grip to hold that makes it more comfortable for him. I think this is a great product for any kid in school. #GotItFree #BicVelocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've already left my first review stating how much I love these mechanical pencils. But what I have to say now is that apparently my fifth-grader loves them as much as I do. I couldn't find any of the pencils around the house, so I went searching for them. Not in my purse, not in any of my desk drawers. Then I got to his room, and guess what I found hidden away in one of his drawers? Every new Bic pencil that he could find around the house. He claims that he needs" them so he can write better at school. Maybe I can wrangle one back

Great Pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are fantastic, and I would definitely purchase again. Grip-barrel is not to thick or thin, and easy to hold. Lead-Lead is nice and dark, even with gentle pressure. Has not broken yet and erases cleanly. Eraser-Erases cleanly with no smudging. I like that it comes with extra leads and erasers. Only complaint is that the colors are rather feminine, and neither of my sons wanted to use the pink or purple pencils!

Loved them

My daughter loves the rubber grip part, and she said the lead seems to last longer, as in doesn't break as easy as other lead pencils. For me they are a little pricey but for the price they seem to be working great! I have not had to buy any new ones or lead for them yet!

My son said his friends fought over the bright colors when he shared them at school. I have already had to buy more because the kids at school borrow them but love them so much they don't want to give them back.

My picky teenaged son likes these

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teenaged son-14-likes these enough he will take them to school, he drew this pic of a zombie because he says that's what he'll be on the first day(he slept through most of summer) but these pencils motivated him enough to resign to the fact that he must go, he even dug out the lunch box and cleaned it! I think these Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils-which I love- will make the school day easier-he likes the smooth sharpness of these.

Great product
