Bic Velocity are our new favorites

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first year both of my daughters have decided to use mechanical pencils. My youngest would only used wooden pencils, but now that she's experienced Bic Velocity pencils she rarely uses wooden pencils. I like the way the pencils write smooth an erase clean. The caps on the erasers are a nice perk because they keep the erasers from becoming smudged. I appreciate the pack of pencils come with refillable lead and erasers.

Great, fun tool for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are great for kids with great colors and easy to use extra lead in pencils and the colors are great. Most kids need number 2 pencils in school so it's great that these are number 2 so they can be used in school. The extra erasers are something I had never seen before but they are really something that kids need when using these kind of pencils

What an experience!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils packages arrived in my BzzKit, I was pretty excited to use them, but my daughter was beyond excited! All the fun and different colors, each to match the many subjects in school. While I love the fact that BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are a very smart buying option for parents instead of the traditional lead pencils, my daughter loves the comfort grip and amazing colors. BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils also come with extra lead and erasers in each 5-pack, saving a few trips to the store, particularly with my daughter using them for all of her school work and homework. There is no need to purchase traditional pencils, the pencil sharpener and bulky erasers. With BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils, one package is it because it includes lead with erasers. BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils write so smoothly plus dark enough to see in notebooks, color paper and Kraft paper. It's the only choice for my daughter now. She will never go back to traditional pencils.

Homework, Grocery Lists, Doodles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doodles are my fav! I've owned the same mechanical pencil for 20 yrs. Until now, I have not tried one that even came close. BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils come very close, and with great colors and attractive price, are great for kids and to use around the house. I like that they come with spare lead and erasers. The one con: kids are genetically programmed to leave the clear plastic eraser lids on the table rather than putting them back on the pencil!

The First Pencil I Like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using this pencil... And that's saying a lot for me... It's been 20 year's since I've used a pencil or even liked them... These pencils write awesomely smooth and have a nice tip at the bottom that makes them feel more like an ink pen. My words come out pretty on paper! The great eraser is also nice because I hate smudges. These ink pens are affordably priced and I'll sure buy them al school year for my son.

My 8th grader LOVES these!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8th grader is over the moon about these! She has tried quite a few of the mechanical pencils over the past few years but not had much luck...I suspect she is pretty rough on her pencils and if the design and/or lead isn't sturdy enough, she breaks it easily and therefore won't be a fan of it....Over the past few years we have purchased different brands and styles for her and I always hear the same complaints; Mom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Bic really nailed it with these pencils. The bright, playful colors really grab the attention of both kids and adults alike. They feel super sturdy, more like a pen than a pencil, and they truly do write super smoothly. If you want to engage your kids and get them excited for back to school, consider picking up a package (or two) of Bic Velocity mechanical pencils
