[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I tried out these pencil, I thought they would be like the other ordinary pencil but I got surprised to see how clear and neat I could write with this pencil and see that I could get 5 of these pencil for a great price. I use them for writing in class and answering multiple choice test. I'm so happy I got to try them out. #gotitfree

The padding supports your hand to allow for comfortable writing. Best mechanical pencil I have used thus far. This is definitely a must have for back to school!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the new BIC Mechanical Pencils are a major upgrade from my old BIC mechanical pictures. As you can see from my picture the difference in size, and the way they write. The new BIC Velocity pencils come in a variety of colors and have a comfort grip that keeps your hand from hurting. The BIC velocity color pencils erase nicely leaving little trace of what you wrote before. I like that they are refillable erasers and #2lead. I believe these should be in everyone's back to school shopping cart. I am very pleased I got to try these new pencils from a promotion from BIC and Bzz Agent. #GOTITFREE

The lead is thick enough for my kids to use in school and not continually break it like happens with thinner leads. The grip on the bottom of the pencil is soft and great for both little hands and adult hands. #BicVelocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was sitting at the table last night and showed me how she likes that the eraser on these pencils is covered with a cap. She really likes that feature and wanted to show me how she likes it. She is happy with these pencils and has told me they work great! She's also been comparing her pencil to her friends pencil and said hands down these are the best mechanical pencil she's used and asked me to get some more. She's using it for her homework. Hard to believe school has already started this week! She's also been using them since we got them to draw. The lead is dark and crisp she says. Yes the lead does erase cleanly which an added bonus. She asked when we use up the lead to buy more and I told her I would. I agree with her that these are a great back to school pencil and we'll definitely keep them around!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These BIC Velocity pencils are definitely winners. Look and feel like a pen, but erase cleanly with no need to ever hunt down a sharpener. While school supply shopping, my daughter picked out a different brand of non- mechanical pencils that looked neat and colorful. She now says she hates how they write and only wants to use the Bic Velocities. We give them a gigantic A+.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Put two girls like the pencils and they write really smooth but a couple of times the lid for the eraser has flung off really easy. I have little ones around so for me that's a deal breaker. I wouldn't purchase.
