[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We think these pencils are absolutely wonderful. They're comfortable sitting in your hand. They are smooth to write with and write nicely. The lead doesn't break every single time that you try to adjust the length. The Eraser is a nice size and the lead is easy to erase. I just started college classes and my children just started Middle School. We all use these pencils and we think they are absolutely wonderful. The bright fun colors make them even better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed getting the chance to use the BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils and so did my kids. Love the fact that the eraser actually fully erases. Hard to find those. Lead is really strong. Plus comes with refills already which are really easy to refill even for kids. The bold bright colors are an added plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never been a fan of mechanical pencils. I remember thinking they were cool as a kid, but as I got older I never thought they worked very well. I am a light" writer. If I don't have a dark ink or lead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are awesome! I love the grip, how well they write even the colors are fun. The price you pay for them are well worth it when you get more lead in with them. I would recommend these to anyone. They are a great buy with minimal packaging so there isn't a lot of waste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very smooth writing! My daughter loves them for school! Great color variety! Lead doesn't seem to break as easily as the cheap dollar store ones!

Always drawing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 middle school boys who love to draw and these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are a hit. They like them so much they have either gave one to a friend or told them what kind they are, and to get a boy to say that much is a miracle in middle school!! From their mouths, my 13 yr old says, they don't drag on the paper and you don't have to push hard. My 11 yr old says he likes the colors but wishes there was a green one and that they erase easy and make his drawings look awesome. I tried them out and agree. They write clean and smooth, and they erase well. I didn't have any trouble with the lead breaking either. All in all, I will buy them. If only for the fact that my boys like them enough that they haven't lost them all!!

Every bit as good as a wood pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are great for the teenagers. My kids love them. The lead is much stronger than other mechanical pencils that I have purchased and the barrel feels very sturdy and not flimsy like most. The writing is smooth and legible not clumpy and so light you can't read it. These come in many colors so all the kids have options. Also, they are refillable which is a major bonus because the refills come with them! I would recommend these a thousand times over other brands because they are that good.
