BIC Velocity Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves these pencils. She says they help her write neater than other pencils she had used. I have to agree as I took a couple to work with me. The writing is smooth and eraser erases completely without leaving anything behind.

BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never been one to like or use mechanical pencils. My kids love them but get frustrated for the same reasons I do. I always feel like I have to press hard in order to read what I'm writing. And with mechanical pencils, when you press too hard you snap the lead and then have to stop and get more lead out, erase the mark that you just made when you snapped the lead and then finally start your writing again. It's a mess. So when I was given the chance to try BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils for free, I figured why not?! My kids were excited when the pencils arrived. We opened them immediately and the first thing we thought was that they were pens, not pencils. They seriously look like pens. It wasn't until we were able to press the lead out that we were convinced that these were in fact mechanical pencils and not pens. lol. My kids are 6, 8 and 13. All three of them each picked a pencil based on color and gave it a go. The first thing they agreed on was that how cool it was that these pencils look like pens. Their instant plan was to take them to school the next day and trick their teachers. (It's the little things lol). My 13 year old said he liked how comfortable the pencil was to hold and the other two agreed. They started out by writing their names on paper and as usual 2 of the 3 pressed super hard to the point that I thought the lead would break, but it didn't! I had a pencil as well and told them to write normally like they would if it were a normal #2 pencil. So they wrote again. And this time, without pressing hard, it was still dark just as if there were using a #2 pencil. Amazing! All three kids were impressed with these mechanical pencils and were writing with them on and off throughout the rest of the day. I give this product a 5 out of 5 rating for durability, smoothness, ease of use, comfortable grip and style.

Amazing love these

They work so well, erasers do there job! Price is good for the product you get! Couldn't be happier! I was happy to put these in my kids book bags! They were even happy to do homework ! Says no mom ever! Well my two just loved it!

Perfect school tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 kids in elementary grade and my challenge is to get a good quality pencil with low maintenance and last longer because they do a lot of writing plus they all loved to write stories or draw when they have free time. When I got the BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils, I knew they were the ones I am looking for. First of all they came in different colors and are very appealing to me and my kids. Each of them got a pencil based on the their favorite color. The lead is strong and does not break easily. It is also writes smoothly and has dark ink. Most of all we don't need to sharpen a lot and it comes with a lead refill which is very convenient. We will continue using this product because it is worth the money we pay.

Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave these to my son to use since I don't use pencils that often, but I did try them just so that I could make a full honest review. First thing about these pencils that my son feels is kind of a deal breaker if the pencil doesn't have this is the side click to extract more lead. He loves these kinds of pencils because with the standard pencils when you erase you might accidentally click it and lead comes out, with these you don't have to worry about that. He said they write about the same as any other #2 mechanical pencil but he did notice the lead didn't break as easy. I think they do the job great! I don't know if you will ever be able to replicate the gritty wood feeling of a standard #2 pencil but this does a really good job plus you don't have to sharpen it. I bought a whole bunch of these for school if that says anything :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love Bic Velocity pencils. They have a nice smooth lead that leaves your writing flawless. The grip on them made sure I didn't end up with a sore finger after writing. I Will definitely be buying more in the future.
