Honestly the generic brands don't match the permanent nature of Sharpie. The quality of the tip lasts throughout the entire ink amount, which is really where sharpie excels. It glides nicely

Sharpie is the perfect permanent marker. We have used taking to baseball games to get players to sign a ball and works well. Writes well and does not smudge if you let sit for just a few. Really good product.

I use these for everything.
I wrote my name on the tags of my clothes.
I write my name on everything.
I also make cards with them and do crafts with them as well.
There is a thing called sharpie happy and I love it.

If you need your drawing or words to be permanent this is the marker for you! It won’t rub off and it stays on all surfaces.

No bleeding and long lasting. I would highly recommend these to anyone. Very good product and not overly priced.
