I purchased these for use while living in a temporary situation where I needed to keep a lot of new opportunities and appointments readily visible. By being clear I could easily focus on the item and not be distracted by the primary color of the tack. There is a down side: that when I drop one on the carpet it is hard to find and necessitates getting down on my hands and knees to find. But I still like these best and will continue to use them in specific situations. buying in bulk is also less costly.
