The folders are very durable. I use these as project folders some folders become very thick with reports. They hold up very well.

I have purchase heavy duty legal size legal folder from Staples for over twenty years. This product was my only choice when I went in to the Kenwood store last week. The files folders are flimsy and tear easily. I drive past two Staple's locations on my commute to and from work. I don't really feel a need to incur shipping costs because you can't stock a store with ordinary items.
