Worhtless Mailmerge Template Generated a PDF file that was "Off"

Saw all the glowing reviews and as a retired IT professional I checked out the templates BEFORE I purchased these - so imagine my surprise when the resulting PDF was useless. This was after downloading their Mailmerge spreadsheet, entering all my addresses into that. Uploading it; using the website to position the fields onto the label; having the site generate a PDF, download that. Test print it onto a sheet of paper - and this is where things went awry. You CANNOT really TELL from a test print that the position of all the addresses is EXACTLY off the blue strip that's at the top/bottom of the label sheets. I then download their WORD.doc template, spend the rest of the day re-entering ALL THE ADDRESSES into the WORD doc (which has the labels correctly positioned). Could've saved myself time and money - ditched these labels and spent all that energy learning the envelope feature on my printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are so sorry that you had trouble printing your project. When you go to print we recommend checking a few settings that may help with alignment. Check that the Scale is set to 100 or Actual Size is selected. Also double check that the paper size is set to 8.5 x 11 or US Letter. Selecting a label or heavyweight paper type setting can help the printer slow the feed to assist with printing. These clear labels are ...

These clear labels are great to use as both address labels and for labeling other items. They print wonderfully with my laser printer and I like their staying power when put on various types of surfaces.

I love these labels! I used them for everything from addressing envelopes, to labeling file folders, clear shoe boxes, glass jars, etc. They stick well, print properly using the MS Word template, and remove easily from the backing sheet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wanted to add a funny flair to hte mailing labels for our band. These labels helped me add a perfectly shaped label with graphics that made people look herder at what they were receiveing one of our mailers. Thank you Avery!

The easy peel address labels are so easy to use. The clear ones, specifically, work really well for colored envelopes as it does not have the contrast that the white ones do, although the white ones are wonderful too! :) If you are looking for labels that are easy to set up (the templates available make it a snap), and that also look great no matter what you're using them for, I would highly recommend using these. You will not be disappointed!

A TOUCH OF CLASS

As a career Admin. Asst and Artist/Director of Art Gallery I have found the Avery Clea Easy Peel Clear Address Labels are fantastic for many of my office/artist requirements. While adding a "touch of class" to my mailings, I have found them filling other requirements. They are indentification labels on containers and info. data regarding artwork. When displaying artwork in the gallery they are used as art information tags next to each painting. On my hand painted cards, I include contact information on the back of the card. Some paintings I will include info. regarding the subject. On the back of paintings of Ristras (Mexican Pepper Braid) I tell the story/origin of the Ristra. If I am painting or printing numerous cards, using the Avery Clear Labels allows me to print as many as I need be it one or more. I have lost count of the customers who have commented on the unique method of utilizing the Avery Clear Address Labels.
