A new take on an old strategy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been folding over the tops of Ziploc bags for years for this same purpose, but having a bag designed to stand up easily for filling is a game changer! I use them to store cereal when there isn't quite enough for a bowl, but I haven't bought the same cereal yet. It's super easy to fill now, a huge improvement over standard bags.

Ok, but probably worth the extra cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The whole point of these bags are they supposed to stay open. In my experience, yes, technically they stay open and stand up on their own but not very wide. I'd still need a free hand to open the bag further to put my contents inside. I can't say I've ever had a need to pour sauce or liquid into a Ziploc bag as this is one of the things advertised for, but regardless no matter what kind of bag I use, it would still require 2 hands. So if they perform the same I don't see these worth the extra cost over standard Ziploc bags.

I have been a fan of ziplock for many years. We buy a large box with 400 sandwich bags in it every 4 months. This new bag is horrendous! It is very hard to close. I have never had an issue closing ziplock before and this frustrates me so much. Now I have 400 bags that I don't want to use because they take so long to close. I am so disappointed by this change. How did quality not figure out this was an issue before changing all of the zip locks to this new design?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The New Easy Open Deign top pink section tears apart and leaves you with nothing to grab and open the bag. The Ziploc design is why I love your products, when you close it, it stays closed. But after the pink top tears off there is nothing to grip. I hope you go back to the original design.
