I've been buying your 'zipper-style' bags for several years with no problems. I thought I'd try these 'easy open' style...wow....TERRIBLE!! I've tried to 'easy open' about 8 of them so far and only ONE actually opened without tearing the smaller tab completely off! I ended up having to pinch the bag walls and open them that way...definitely NOT 'easy open' by any stretch of the imagination! VERY disappointed in this product!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The group 'n seal makes the bag air tight keeping items fresher for longer. The way the bags are packaged makes it easy to take only one bag at a time. The quart size is perfect for storing sandwiches or snacks.

Top rips right off when trying to open for use

The past two boxes have been the same. You try to open them for use, or reuse and the top rips right off. Terrible product. This is why I don't but the non-brand name. now I'm going to go back to the generic.

Really liked the thickness of the bag. Also, the ability of the bag to stand up entirely freed one hand to dump items into it. The zipper had a nice feel to it and the way it made a subtle clicking feeling to it made me feel secure that the bag had zipped properly.

Purchased box of 24 and have used 16 with the same result. When attempting to open bag seal tears and bag looses integrity. Waste of my time and extremely annoying. Could not complete form for complaint.

Minor flaw but I plan to continue purchasing

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The product worked well as far as the true seal. It's easy to seal and has enough resistance when opening to provide the proof that the food is airtight. However, a problem that I encountered was the flap area right above the seal on the shorter side ripped in the middle. No impact to the product or seal, but a pain to find open with such a now small area to grip on one side. Overall, the product is great. I purchase this product regularly even prior to this review and I plan to continue that.
