Worse design ever

Every bag rips when I attempt to open it: easy open tabs are sealed for each bag so when you open it it rips at the seam. Horrible design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolute MUST-HAVE

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Ziploc brand bags have always been a staple in my home. I've tried several other brands but the quality I've come to expect just isn't there. This particular quart size bag has easy open tabs at the top to make for super quick, even one-handed opening which comes in handy more often than I thought. This particular feature is usually missing from other brands and is such a let down. The thickness of the bags is also another favorite part of this bag. Even though they aren't marketed for "freezer bags", I can use them as freezer bags for about a couple of months or so and still never have any issues with freezer burn. The double lock seal also makes it super easy to tell if the bag is ACTUALLY sealed... and that's important. Quart size is just big enough to handle meal prepping, lunch packing, or small item storage without being too wasteful or too small. Love this brand and size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how the bag stays open and sits on the counter so you can pour what you need to it the bag. It does try to fall over when you first go to pour things in, but after you get some in the bag and readjust, it's fine!

Ziploc quality has changed and not for the better

I have been using Ziploc products for many years. My complaint is with the Ziploc storage , quart size, bags. I never had a problem with these bags that I use to pack my children's' sandwiches in. The quality has changed. The bags when opening them to put the sandwich inside ( normal size bread) split on the seams and make the bag unusable. This has happened many times and with different lot numbers over the past 6 months to a year. I thought it was a one time thing but now realize otherwise. Sometimes finding cheaper production alternatives ultimately causes more money in the end. If it isn't broken don't' try to fix it , especially if it only benefiting you the manufacturer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have tried these bags two separate times, but the quality is poor. They are not easy to open and when I reopen to remove the contents (and possibly put the remainder back in, the bag rips along the side and is unusable. I have always purchased ziplock for the quality, but will not continue to do so for the quart bags.
