High expectations, low realistic stand alone use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really had high expectations for this product when I saw it advertised but in reality, the execution was a complete failure. The bag is flimsy and doesn't stay folded at the bottom nor stays in place or open as the top is tight and narrow. It will only stand or hold open if you hold it that way which is the same as any other plastic bag honestly. One positive is that it opens wider at the bottom to hold more or thicker items.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These bags are affordable yet bring a high quality that you won't get with the generic brands. I like that they are BPA free and microwave safe! They are also made with clean renewable energy sources!! These are great for saving food and keeping it fresh.

Never been so disappointed in a Ziploc bag as I am with these. Hard to seal, seal breaks and the most aggravating thing is when you do get it sealed and try to re-open bag the whole top pull tab rips off.

I am disappointed in these "easy open tab" bags. They seal fine, but when you open them you don't know if the bag will open correctly, or tear. The tear happens between the thick pink line and the top blue line. I hope this style isn't going to become the norm for Ziplock as I am not impressed. Thank you.

Been a lifelong Ziploc fan until the easy open tab design. I have problems sealing the bags. INCOMPLETE SEAL MOST OF THE TIME. The seal breaks before geyying to the end of the bag. Prior design was far superior. I no longer have confidence in these bags. Never had a problem before easy open tabs came along. Will look at other brands. Very disappointed. Used to buy Ziploc exclusively. Was my favorite brand.
