I bought a box of 48 Quart size bags having had a lot of success with the gallon size. My experience with these quart size bags were anything but pleasant. I attempted to pull them apart straight from the box and one after another the holding tab ribbed on me, making the bag useless. In all I think I was able to use about 15 out of the 48 in the box. Shouldn't need a set of instructions on how to open storage bags. Won't be buying them again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Like the other reviewers of this product, I too am disappointed with the quality of these bags. The easy open tab is neither easy to open nor easy to seal. The factory sealed edges of the bag rip along the seam almost every time I get a new bag from the box. Worse, the bags that don't rip, leak along that same edge. I'm not sure if it's due to a malfunctioning sealing unit on the assembly line, or if it's just a result of thinner (cheaper) materials being used in the construction of these bags. Whatever the reason, it's ruining a brand that has had decades of positive name recognition.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These bags rip near the zipper seal and down the side of the bag. Not worth spending extra money on brand name if they don't work. I'd give zero stars if it were an option.

I use ziploc storage quart bags all the time. For storing, for the kids lunches or to just have something organized and labeled for future use.

Ziploc bags are a staple at my house and especially the quart size is a bag we use for so many purposes. They are great for portioning anything, from fruit and veggies to meat. We use them too occasionally to pack cold lunches for my kids. The Ziploc brand in particular has the strongest bag we've tried and the best and easiest seal to use.
