Every easy open tab rips and I had to throw the bag out. I thought I maybe had a bad box but it seems I'm not the only one with this problem. Very disappointed with Ziploc.

I saw that they redesigned the quart bags and I needed more bags, so I bought these. The bags come in the box closed. I ripped each bag trying to open it. EACH. BAG. I never had this feeling of being Mrs. Hulk on the original packaging. Unfortunately this is the only version of Ziploc that my grocery store carries. I switched brands.

Like the other reviewers of this product, I too am disappointed with the quality of these bags. The easy open tab is neither easy to open nor easy to seal. The factory sealed edges of the bag rip along the seam almost every time I get a new bag from the box. Worse, the bags that don't rip, leak along that same edge. I'm not sure if it's due to a malfunctioning sealing unit on the assembly line, or if it's just a result of thinner (cheaper) materials being used in the construction of these bags. Whatever the reason, it's ruining a brand that has had decades of positive name recognition.

Top blue strip of lock comes off whenever you open it. Every

Every time you open these bag, the top blue strip (that it attached to one side and then zips to the other side) comes off. So your "zip" is now down to 1 tiny blue strip attachment. Best part, is that the bags come in the box in the zipped position, so when you open it for the first time to put something in, it's already broken. I'm 10 for 10 right now in my box. Terrible.
