Not going to repeat everything everyone else said but these bags are the worst. They rip when you try to open them, they don't come apart without ripping. I understand the higher tab is supposed to make it easy to open but the fact is, they're not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great idea but it doesn't work. The tab rips right off the bag and the bag still won't open. I have yet to open a new bag without the tab coming off. I swear by Ziplocs but these are a very poor representation of the product.

This bag rips nearly every time I open it. (At least half of the box is completely ruined and unusable. ) I really am frustrated at this waste of money when a store brand would have performed much better. Thought I'd get more out of ziploc brand.

I have bought zip storage bags in the past and the quality just wasn't there..They were either hard to get zipped or were not very strong..I would always go back to the tie storage bags..I am very happy with these and will purchase them..I love them.
