I am disappointed in these "easy open tab" bags. They seal fine, but when you open them you don't know if the bag will open correctly, or tear. The tear happens between the thick pink line and the top blue line. I hope this style isn't going to become the norm for Ziplock as I am not impressed. Thank you.

The "easy open tabs" are a good idea, poorly executed. Over half the bags in the one box I bought, the tabs rip before the bag opens. Worthless!

The side seams constantly tear when opening the "easy" tab. Then it's almost impossible to re-seal the bag once the seam is torn, making these bags useless once you open them. This has happened to every box that I've bought, no matter what size bag. This never happened with the previous design and I was able to use those bags numerous times. Not sure why the design was changed but it's pretty disappointing.

Please, take off the "easy open tab"! I've used these bags for decades, but now they are frustrating and I will look for another brand. During use, the flap tears off. Almost every time. Without a flap, they are nearly impossible to open. I thought it was only me, but my husband asked me this week "What happened to the ziploc bags? They keep tearing". Now I see that others have written similar reviews.

Have used "Ziploc" bags for many, many years and had grown to really like the ease and quality of bags for keeping items safe and secure. However, the "Easy Open Tabs have missing the mark big time. They are not easy to open and slip at the seams all the time.

I really liked the easier open tab idea, but 75% of the time I use them...when I go to reopen the bag the normal flap rips almost completely off. Then it's a huge pain trying to pry the bag open without a flap on one side. It's extremely frustrating, especially if you have limited time. Better off with the original bags until or if they fix this
