I have always thought of Ziploc as the top of the line. I often buy the store brand because they are less expensive and for my needs they seem to work fine. I liked the idea of the extra large flap to make it easier to open. I have used four or five and three of the bags the extra flap has torn off and I have had to cut the bag To open it. Not sure these were worth the cost!

I buy this product faithfully. I have every other size in my house but for some reason this 1 package is faulty. When you open it to use the side splits right down about an inch so it is not sealable? Not sure why it happened. I would be happy to send samples to you if you would like to check into it more. It is not cheap and upsetting to have happen almost every 1 in bag so far. Don't want to rate totally as this is 1st time I have every encountered this

I have always gone out of my way to purchase Ziploc vs store brand because I could be sure of the quality. I just bought a package while out of town in CA and it is a total disappointment. A very high percentage of the box of 24 have either, a. ripped down the side seam when trying to open, or. b. the pink tab(s) have ripped loose from the zipper when trying to open. This isn't the first box of the new design that I've purchased, but this is the first time I've had this problem. The white stamp for labeling on the outside of each bag even looks sloppy compared to the box of good ones I already had at home (a 48 qty box). Needless to say, I'll probably buy a store brand alternative next time and see if they are less problematic. The code stamped on my problem box is P0320307E0108.

I like the tabs and the color coding by bag type -storage, freezer, etc. However, the tab rips from the bag making it difficult to open and reseal.

The New Easy Open Deign top pink section tears apart and leaves you with nothing to grab and open the bag. The Ziploc design is why I love your products, when you close it, it stays closed. But after the pink top tears off there is nothing to grip. I hope you go back to the original design.

I'm not sure why or who named the new bags with this tag. I have literally used a pliers or other tool to grip a side and my teeth another to pry the "easy open tab" apart. I have since switched to a generic brand that doesn't need a code to crack to gain entry.

I haven't had a lot of trouble with the new Easy Tabs until I recently bought a large box of gallon sized bags. They all rip above the bottom zipper seal when I try to open the bags! I'm not sure why there is a zig-zag perferation above the zipper seal because that is where it is tearing. I'm not sure if it's a bad batch of bags or not, but it is very frustrating!
