The Easy Open Tabs open easy the the sides rip every time I open them up! I finally got one to not rip and my son opened the bag to get the candy I had put in and the sides tore for him also. Will not buy Easy Open Tab style again.

You obviously didn't do extended research on the "Easy Open Tab" invariably the tab or the bag tear and renders the bag un-re-sealable. C'mon, SC Johnson is better than that.

These new bags have a sawtooth perforation in the blue part of the easy lock tab that rips every single time we use a bag. Once that rips off, you have to use your fingernail to get the zipper open. It closes just fine, but every time it rips upon opening.

I've been using Ziploc bags for years, I spend the extra money for Ziploc over store brand because they have always been better until now. These new tabs are terrible!! they are incredibly difficult to without the tops ripping off making the bag useless for resealing. They do great job of protecting whats put inside bc it can't be taken out once the bag sealed. I'm very disappointed. I may have to try another brand now.

Dear Ziploc. I have been a fan of ziploc bags for many years. I recently purchased a box of the easy open tab quart size bags. I think the very first bag ripped across the top when i tried to open it. Then there was a struggle to open the zipper part with nothing to hold on to. I have continues to use this box of bags and gently pull open the zipper and some times it works and sometimes it doesn't. Please go back to the old faithful bags that we have loved using for ever.

I've been buying your 'zipper-style' bags for several years with no problems. I thought I'd try these 'easy open' style...wow....TERRIBLE!! I've tried to 'easy open' about 8 of them so far and only ONE actually opened without tearing the smaller tab completely off! I ended up having to pinch the bag walls and open them that way...definitely NOT 'easy open' by any stretch of the imagination! VERY disappointed in this product!

I bought these baggies because of the Ziploc name and have trusted them fully in the past. Easy open NO WAY!Every bag I pulled out and tried to use tears or tore along the seal. Trust has been broken. Now I will be very leary. These things aren't cheap. Especially on a fixed income. Ridiculous!
