Not a big change

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use ziploc storage backs for a variety of reasons. I found that this new design was not that much different than the old design. It took some maneuvering to get the bag just right, but then it was able to stand up on its own. Once set up correctly, the bag was easy to use and worked well. I would use them, but I would not seek the product out or pay extra for the new features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Game changer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Ziploc Stay Open Design is a game changer! It makes it ao much easier to handle the bags while trying to fill it with your product! It was really great for my meal preps when it came time to pouring liquids or sitting upright to put fruit into!

Hard to use but great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the stability and dependability of the Ziploc brand bags. I was excited to try the Ziploc stay open to size quart size storage bags. I found it very difficult to get the bag to stay upright and open as I filled it up. I think I actually have an easier time getting it to stay upright to fill with a normal Ziploc bag. The zipper is secure and I trust the bags to keep my food at peak quality, but the stay open design did not work for me. I got this product to try for free in exchange for a review.

Good intent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stay open design is a good intent. The bag does somewhat stay open but not much more than a normal ziploc. The folding was simple but wouldn't stay when trying to fill the bag. It seems as though the bag is not sturdy enough to force the closure to stay open. Maybe try to thicken the bag or review for improvements.

First of these types of zippers I could close consistently

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't think I have ever been able to close a traditional press type seal zipper consistently, yet this one I could close everytime. Amother great feature is how the top folds down and the bottom flares out, allowing it to stand in its own while filling. I am glad that I got this from ziploc in exchange for my review. I will probably be purchasing some of these in the future.

Ok, but probably worth the extra cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The whole point of these bags are they supposed to stay open. In my experience, yes, technically they stay open and stand up on their own but not very wide. I'd still need a free hand to open the bag further to put my contents inside. I can't say I've ever had a need to pour sauce or liquid into a Ziploc bag as this is one of the things advertised for, but regardless no matter what kind of bag I use, it would still require 2 hands. So if they perform the same I don't see these worth the extra cost over standard Ziploc bags.
