Bags tear almost every time I use one. When pulling apart the first time, the red stripes completely separates from the blue part, leaving me with a piece of plastic in my hand. Sometimes the sides separate, they have no strength.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My paint point when I buy plastic bags is its zipper. Sometimes it's so difficult to seal the bag. In these bags zipper works perfectly. So I can rely on it and even put quinoa in the bag) plastic looks very thick so this bag is durable. As I try to reduce plastic amount in my house I believe I can use this bag at least twice.

I like the tabs and the color coding by bag type -storage, freezer, etc. However, the tab rips from the bag making it difficult to open and reseal.

Big improvement

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These new ziploc bags are a huge improvement over the original style. There are two zipper lines at the opening, vs one line, so it takes no effort to close the bag because they line up automatically. There is also an easy to grip surface on the edges so It's much easier to open the bag.

I bought these baggies because of the Ziploc name and have trusted them fully in the past. Easy open NO WAY!Every bag I pulled out and tried to use tears or tore along the seal. Trust has been broken. Now I will be very leary. These things aren't cheap. Especially on a fixed income. Ridiculous!

Bags not assembled correctly

I really like these bags but the last box I opened has some issues I would like to share with ziploc. Some of the bags in the box at least 5 so far are not assembled correctly. The seams between the clear bag and the closure device are not connected.
