Works; looks great on my dark purple shirts
on July 27, 2017

It printed out well. Since my design was a rectangle with rounded corners, I wanted to use our guillotine paper chopper to ensure straight cuts, and so I didn't leave a grab tab as the instructions said. Instead, I cut 3 of the 4 rounded corners, then used my thumbnail to separate the backing at the 4th uncut corner. This worked on all but the 3rd one. I actually separate the paper backing itself, so when I attempted to peel it, I left some of the paper on the design. I was able to separate it at a rounded corner, which was actually easier than the square corner. Using MS Publisher, I added straight lines on the outside of the design to show where to cut on our chopper. I made the lines as close to the purple of the shirts I could, to help ensure I didn't leave any white around my design. Overall, these weren't difficult to use. Slight issue with the backing on 1/5. Also, my purple guideline didn't match well on the first shirt, and our chopper needs sharpened/smooth out. I used extra time and pressure with the iron around the edges. As of this review, I have yet to wash them, so I don't know about longevity. I don't expect them to last years like a commercial shirt, but I was able to make custom shirts for about $6.16 each. I can this once a year, if I need to.

I use this application in my artwork and I am very pleased with the result. The transfers fuse very well and stay put. I don't wash my pieces so I can't comment on how well the transfers on apparel would hold up to that.

I hadn't done a transfer in a long time and of course thought I knew what I was doing, had a read the instructions I would have had no problem but once I figured it out I got good, crisp reproduction and it went well on dark t-shirts. It took a little extra effort to iron on but it has held up well.

I used these transfers for a light green design on a black background. The transfers showcased the color brilliantly and ironed on like a dream. I have washed my t-shirt in cold water and line dried it a few times and it still looks great!

Paper backing is impossible to remove

I had a great design idea for t shirts but I needed dark transfer material. The print was great and it cut well but it was impossible to remove the paper backing so I could iron it on to my shirt. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased the product. What a waste of money.
Pros: Dries Quickly
Cons: Can't remove backing

I use these constantly for t-shirts, sport jerseys and school events, and have never been disappointed. They are easy to use, easy to apply and last. In the past year I used these to make Basketball jackets, Baseball Jerseys for three teams, Zombie T-shirts, and a team equipment bag, all with excellent results. I still have t-shirts and jerseys I printed 3+ years ago!

Used these to make a set of four t-shirts for a team race. Put our logo on the back and everyone's name on the front chest too. Followed the directions exactly and they turned out perfect! Wash well too! Thanks Avery!
