I have always had excellent results with Avery. When I had run out of my Avery products, I unfortunately decided to try another brand to make personalized shirts for my great grandkids. This alternate brand washed out after the first washing (a problem I had never had with Avery). I immediately ordered Avery transfers and, from now on, will only use Avery!
I have been using this t-shirt transfer paper a while now. I did a test using dye ink (Canon printer ink), but found the image to wash out after a few washes. I then printed shirt transfers with pigment ink (epson), and those images have survived everything my then 10 year old threw at the shirts No fading or anything.
My only hope is that the heat activated protectant worked with all inks not just pigmented inks.
As far as the backing it's split into 3 sections gently folding enough to separate one piece of the back helps. I use a cricut so I weed it like I would htv.
I would love to use ever foul word I can come up with including some invented one's. After 1.5 hours the backing won't PEEL OFF. kid his an event TOMORROW and the paper won't come off. SERIOUSLY!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are very sorry to hear this. I did create a case for this issue which is case number 5647513. If you could please reach out to our Care Team at avery,com/contact with that case number, we would want to gather some information from the product packaging and take a closer look at this issue to make it right.
As much as I press my corners won’t stay down on the shirt. I have wasted a lot of material bcus of that problem

We are sorry to hear this. Generally, we see peeling occur if there was not enough pressure or heat while ironing. We would recommend visiting avery.com/transfers and make sure that all the steps are followed as closely as possible. If you still continue to have this issue, please reach out to our Care Team at avery.com/contact so we may take a closer look at this issue and try to make it right for you.
