Too good to be true

I was super-excited to see that these were “no-bleed” Sharpie brand pens. I LOVE Sharpies and picked up a couple 4-packs of black and blue. The next day, at work, I was writing up a contract with a client only to find that what I thought was going to be my new favorite pen had, indeed, bled. That would be bad enough, but it ruined the sleeve of my shirt as well.
Soooooo incredibly disappointed and angry. Feels like another instance of “Over-promise and Under-deliver.”
Do better, Sharpie…do better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn’t write smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received a pack of the Sharpie gel pens in the mail. Both myself and my teenager were excited to try them out! Opened the package and peeled off the protective glue over top of the pen point and tried to write. It took a bit for the ink to come out- it needed some shaking and a little bit of “priming” I guess? I was drawing circles on paper to get the ink to come out. Once it started writing, I could tell immediately I wasn’t going to like it. The gel/ink seemed rough. It wasn’t writing very smooth so in the middle of words, it looked like I had stopped writing or slipped. The gel kind of skidded along the paper instead of smoothly applying. My son had the same complaints. I have a favorite pen that I use and will just stick with that. These were not very functional.

False Claims No Bleed

I bought a pack of these pens specifically for the no bleed promise. I am disappointed to report the claim of no bleed is not accurate as you can tell by the photos below. My hand has never been so messy after using a pen for an extended period of time. I would not buy this again and will be throwing these out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good grip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sharpie Pen S.Gel comes in 3 different colors. Blue, Red and Black with a fine point for an easy writing in any surface. The colors are smooth and a vivid writing always. No bleed technology helps to don't mess the projects you work on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I absolutely love these pens! The tip is super fine, so it writes very thin detailed lines. The grip is comfortable and easy to hold, and the ink doesn’t smudge or bleed through most paper. The pens have a thin color band to show the ink color, and the red and blue are really nice shades. I’ve been writing and taking notes with these pens for weeks, and they’ve still got ink too - so they should last a while. I love ‘em!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My latest product to review is the Sharpie Gel Pen. I received a 4 count package of the pens in 3 assorted colors. The colors are black, blue and red. It is easy to write with these gel pens as the ink flows smoothly, and the pens are easy to hold onto with a contoured rubber grip. The pens are available in 3 point sizes. It includes fine 0.5 mm, medium 0.7 mm and bold 1.0 mm. With the selection of colors and point sizes that are available, there is a favorite for everyone. Sharpie Gel Pens always provide vivid writing with no smear. These pens are perfect for both office and home use. My kids claim they work great for drawing too!
