Good size file box but 'snap lid' *not* tight

Disappointed that this attractive file box does not provide a sufficiently *tight* snap lid closure. If this box tips over the files will spill out: Not good. Will now try Staples' "latch lid" file box in the hope that the "latch" style truly has a snug-fit lid that stays shut keeping files safely intact.

Although I do use them for my household files I have found these boxes to be good for other storage as well. When I moved they were perfect for transporting glasses coffee mugs and other breakables and storing the items I didn't need right away. One box holds the Christmas cards I buy on sale after Christmas. They are great and easy to move around as needed.

I love the file boxes however I picked the grey boxes by mistake. I thought I was ordering the clear ones. The are everything I thought they would be! Nice and not bulky. They fit in any space.

Decent low-cost file containers. They are brittle and crack easily if loaded unevenly during stacking. Stackable three high then they need side-to-side support to prevent wobbling. Not durable for continuously moving around a lot of heavy files. One lid came cracked on delivery.
