The record file box has hanging "ledges" to hold files with end hooks. Perfect to see your records. I prefer it for the box full of records I want to keep handy for statements warranties family info etc. No file cabinet. I have two boxes & they fit under the folding (work) table perfectly.

This is a nice sized file box and should serve well. I like the gray tinted plastic material it is made of. The only thing I didn't care much for is the top lid didn't seem to fit very tightly. Perhaps once it is filled it will stay on more securely.
