Our teachers laminate name tags photos of the kids art work etc. These are great for year-long bulletin board items. We have the list of allergies laminated in the "gym" bag the health and fitness teacher takes out with the kids. Every room has the emergency exit directions laminated on the wall by their door. You name it we laminate it! The imporant documents we laminate are drawings by the students which are put on display for our Open Houses and Grandparents/Special Friends' Day. Then the kids can take the item home in their backpack and it doesn't get crushed.
I enjoy keeping items for both teaching or family photographs preserved. I have found that laminating is a great way to keep these keepsakes around for others to view. When they look thru the album book I created I don't have to worry about fingerprints that would mar the item since it is easily wiped clean. Laminating works well for visual aids for teaching also. I can store the items flat and the size of the laminating paper allows me to put them in folders and categorize them. It is great that you can cut them smaller if you want to also.
Preschoolers hands can make anything grubby in minutes but thanks to the ease and durability of these laminating pouches all of my games and centers are kid-friendly easily cleaned sturdy enough to take repeated use and manageable for small hands. I should probably buy stock in this product and velcro.
