[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thoroughly research all of my products before buying including reading reviews online. Since I appreciate the honest reviews I read I love giving feedback to help others. We are a military family that moves often so we use permanent markers a lot especially for labeling boxes! The packaging was sufficient for the markers without waste. My first impression was positive with the markers feeling like high quality sturdy markers and the caps attaching strongly as to not fall off accidentally. The chisel tip worked nicely allowing for either thick or thin bold ink. The ink easily transferred onto cardboard for easy-to-read writing. I used the markers for labeling cardboard moving boxes writing our name box number and contents. These were perfect for the job. I like that they were bold and thick with plenty of ink. I also liked that I could use the chisel tip to write the contents in a smaller font yet use the thicker tip to write the room label. With little kids it was important that the cap attached strongly too! I would definitely buy these markers. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with these Staples Duramark Tank Markers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a nice classic chisel tip marker. Writes smooth with saturated color and dries quickly. Not as stinky as other permanent marker brands which I especially like. I’ll be using these markers often for various crafting projects and signage/labels for events.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples Duramark Tank Marker Chisel Tip really impressed me. It’s super easy to write with and the ink is the deepest richest black I’ve ever seen in a marker. The ink goes on so smoothly and looks completely solid—no skipping or streaking at all. I love the chisel tip because it gives you a lot of flexibility—you can make thick lines thin lines or even get creative with a little calligraphy. It feels sturdy in your hand and writes effortlessly whether you’re labeling something or working on a project. Overall this is a seriously good marker that’s become a go-to for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These markers looked great out of the box (all 36 of them!) and felt comfortable in my hand. Unfortunately the first thing that I noticed was that when I took off the cap and tried to secure it on to the bottom of the marker while I wrote it fell off. I tried again a few times but it kept coming unattached as I used the marker. Not a huge deal but would have been a nice feature. I also noticed that I had to push down harder than usual to get a solid bold line. In this picture the loop on the top line was writing with my normal grip and you can see that there are section that are not as bold. However if I pushed down a little harder (like on the second line) the ink was nice and bold. I do like the chisel tip and the ability write with varying level of thickness and this box of markers is definitely a great value for the price. I will definitely keep using them but I wouldn’t say they are anything particularly special. Would probably be a great buy for a classroom or an event where you need lots of markers and won’t be heartbroken if a few disappear.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these markers for everyday things like labeling my kid’s water bottle or labeling cardboard boxes for storage. The chisel tip works well on cardboard and other surfaces and I appreciate that the marker isn’t super thick and hard to hold onto like some other markers. They work great ink is bold and dark and seem like they will last awhile.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I needed a permanent marker in the past. Sharpie brand was always my go to. Now trying these staples brand I may have to stick with these! I love the fine tips. Gets the job done and not to mention they aren’t as pricey!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These chisel tip permanent workers are very versatile in use. You can use them on the wider side for bold thick markings or at the end for finer thinner markings. I used them to write on boxes for storage the deep bold black lettering is easily visible on the blue boxes to make organizing the garage easy. The thinner side of the marker I was able to use to underline letters and draw shapes with my daughter. The Ink did not bleed through the piece of paper when drawing however it does if you leave the marker in one spot for a period of time. I find and that this is fairly common with most markers though. for fun I was able to use these markers as a sort of calligraphy depending on how you hold the markers and the lettering goes from fat to thin as you draw. It’s also kind of a fun way to use them while teaching your kids about thin lines thick lines and the difference between them. I left the cap off of one of the markers for the day just to see how quickly the markers dried out. When I used the marker again in the ink was just as dark and normal as it was when I first opened the marker. I liked that about the markers as well as as the ability to use them not only for my personal stuff work stuff household stuff and as a teaching tool. I would recommend these markers to others as a staple in their office supply needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tank markers live up to their name. They’re durable dark and sturdy. The chisel tip is perfect for bolded font or for italic cursive. They are easy to use and easy to stored. I make a lot of boards and signs and these are very nice and helpful. The dark color makes for the perfect writing companion and catches attention easily. It doesn’t have a strong odor smell like most markers. They are easy to store and very easy to open. The lids are not super tight to pull off. The ink is nice and bold. I’m excited to how well my garage sale signs will turn out. Perfect for spring for me to use!
