Not a good replacement for a Sharpie

this marker does not have as fine a writing point as a sharpie and therefore cannot be written with in small letters or it becomes muddy.

Staples® DuraMark Permanent Marker Fine

Typically we only buy Sharpie brand for these markers but this time we thought we would try the Staples brand because they were half the price. We are extremely glad we did! We actually prefer these to the Sharpies. They write very smoothly don't smudge and the writing stays where we put it. These markers also dry faster than the Sharpie brand does. When considering the price and quality of these markers we are VERY pleased and will continue to purchase them going forward. Thank you for making a comparable product!

There is better out there

Good marker for price however have major problem. Purchased these marker for service techs to use in field. Major problem is they bleed easily. Have even ruined a couple shirts. Primarily use to write on equipment when installed.The ink seems to be hit and miss on the markers. Some work really well others not so much all on the same type of equipment being installed.

Best markers on the market. Sharpie is not even close and they last way longer.
