[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking for excellent black permanent chisel tip markers I would highly recommend you try the Staples Duramark Tank Markers! I primarily love chisel tip markers for drawing and coloring especially for drawing and outlining things for my children to color in. These markers are great because the ink is very bold and black and is very smooth to use. It glides effortlessly across the page. Even though it is chisel tip the edge is very pointy and firm so you can do small details as well. Best of all they don’t have a strong typical permanent marker smell! Also they don’t leak through. If you’re using printer paper you can see it through on the other side but it doesn’t actually go through. They also work really well on construction paper poster board and easel paper. Each marker has a pretty good life because I’ve only been using one for awhile and it isn’t showing any signs of drying up at all. Overall great permanent black markers that get the job done!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive these markers in the mail. The first thing I did was grab a piece of paper to scribble all over. The chisel tip was at a great angle to make the writing bold or thin depending on the side you use. These are the perfect markers for things like labeling moving boxes or writing on poster boards. Like you would expect from a permanent marker they did bleed through a bit to other pages but not too much. I was using them in a booklet and I wrote on one page I could see the marker through the backside but nothing really got onto the next page. I love that there are so many in a box. This is perfect for if you are having a small army help with your project or maybe you just never want to run out. My favorite part of the marker is that the color is a great dark hue. It stands out just as I would expect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good markers. Worked well on different type of paper. Didn’t dry out when left open while using over a long period of time (half hour). Decent price in comparison to other name brands. Will continue to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I confess I didn’t expect to like these markers very much because I usually choose fine tip markers. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the marker wrote. The lines from the marker show up bold and the thickness from the chisel tip is perfect for writing signs and labeling things. I used these markers to number bags for an egg hunt and the ink was bold readable and smudge-resistant. My favorite thing about the markers is that they are non-toxic and do not have a very noticeable odor. That’s important to me with kids in the house. Overall I was impressed by the marker and am excited to use it for future projects.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good value pack of markers but they bleed a bit more than another leading brand. I will definitely keep them to use in the wood shop as they're still useful for anything that isn't precious—but for things that I'd prefer to keep crisp I'll be reaching for something else. I did a direct comparison with another permanent marker on plain bond paper making an effort to write with the same speed and pressure for both. As you can see the difference is subtle on the front side of the paper but there's an obvious difference on the back. If you're just looking for function and a low price per marker these could work. They have an unusual smell for a permanent marker but are relatively low odor as they claim.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These markers to me were just as good if not not better than the Sharpie brand. The ink quality was very strong and showed up well on both paper and poster board. I also love fine tip markers because it makes writing easier for me! With a box so big my husband used some during baseball season for different things. It’s so nice finding a brand of markers that last long and worth the price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a great option for permanent markers at a good price. I use markers regularly for homeschooling and these are bold and clear. One marker has lasted me a long time which is important to me. I also love that these markers have very little smell unless you put your nose really close. Many times markers give me a headache from the scent when writing and I didn’t notice that at all with these. I did try these on skin as well because we are part of swim team and we usually write the kids’ races on their arms in permanent markers and the markers do bleed slightly on skin so it isn’t as crisp of a line. It isn’t enough to make them not useable. On every other surface I tried the lines were very crisp and only needed a little dry time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a teacher and a mom these markers are amazing!! They write so boldly and smoothly with the fat or chisel tip option. They also don’t bleed or run at all! The design is easy and comfortable to hold and the cap fits in the bottom of the marker when using! I used these markers at home as well as in my classroom right away to label bags snacks projects write on posters and anchor charts. Throw one in your desk junk drawer wherever to easily grab and use! I was highly impressed with these markers and would definitely buy again as well as recommend them to friends and coworkers.
