Ruined new clothes

I’ve used regular Tide Pods many times. I bought these by mistake. Twice now one has “melted” onto my clothes. The first time it was a sock. No big deal. This time it’s brand new expensive pajamas! Maybe it’s time to leave my life long relationship with Tide.

We’re sorry that a loyal Tide fan like you had this experience, since our PODS™ are designed to dissolve completely, and have been tested to do so in any machine, temperature, and water condition. We’d like to share some tips to help prevent this from happening. We suggest making sure that there aren’t too many absorbent items in the load, the load isn’t too large, and you’re always placing the PODS™ in first, before the clothes. To remove that residue, please soak your items overnight in water, and then re-wash in your washing machine with no laundry detergent, and at the highest water temperature permitted by the care label. Overpowering Scent

The scent of the pods is overpowering that I have to wash my clothes twice to get rid of the scent. The scent is strong that my allergies kick-in with runny eyes and nose. Your packaging should say its scented and not original or give your customer a choice of unscented or scented.

Great cleaning power but irritated my skin

These do a great job of getting clothes very clean even sweaty gym clothes that hold onto odors. I live alone so I wash once a week and it has no problem getting out old odors and stains. But the scent is overpowering and the detergents are quite strong that they causes a lot of irritation on my skin (which I’ve never considered sensitive before). I now wash and then run another cycle with just water after and that seems to help a lot. But it could be wasteful if you’re doing multiple loads. Please come out with a free and gentle version or maybe even scent free if gentle isn’t possible with these surfactants.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible rashes

Ive been using these pods for about a week and they have given me rashes in practically every nook and cranny of my body. I’ve never gotten rashes from laundry detergent before, and have never even had a skin issue. The other problem with these pods being yes, you can smell the chemicals off freshly washed clothes from across the room. Horrible product. 1/5

Swollen eyes

We got free samples with our groceries. The clothes smell great, but like other reviewers we are dealing with allergic reactions and now have to re-wash all of the laundry that was washed using the pods.

Same as the regular pods

I love the scent. I don’t find it too strong. My issue is that it doesn’t remove stains any better that the regular pods. I do like that I only have to use 1 pod for larger loads but the stains remained even after another wash cycle with 2 pods.

Scent is overpowering

The scent from this product is so strong that I can smell it on washed clothes as soon as I walk into a room. Even when I rinse clothes twice, the scent is still way too strong. It actually makes me gag. Unfortunately, I bought a 68-pod box and I'm stuck with it. I DO NOT recommend this product.
