Amazing stain lifting power!

Halloween 2020 and I thought her costume was ruined. She’s worn it for an event the night prior and had been decorating cookies with black frosting! I was sure the white top of the costume was as good as done for. Just one wash with the Tide Hygienic Clean Heavy Duty 10X Power PODS® Original Scent and it was as good as new. I’m truly impressed by how clean the costume came out. Even more impressed how amazing it smelled. This pod was a true miracle worker, no presoaking required to get the stains out. Tide rescued us once again!

I just got a HE machine and recently started to use these Tide Pods. I have to say that the smell lasts so incredibly long and can combat anything I throw at them. I live with my extended family and just love the way that I can throw one in the machine and know it will handle everything I put in the wash. One less thing to worry about!

I just tried the Tide Hygienic Clean Heavy Duty 10X Power PODS® Original Scent for the first time. I usually use detergent, not PODS - but will be using PODS from now on. So easy to use! I have 3 little kids that are 6 and under (and 3 dogs) so I need a detergent like this that promises to clean fabrics down to the microscopic level. I love knowing that about these Tide Hygienic Clean Heavy Duty 10X Power PODS®. Glad to buy and use. I am a Tide ambassador. All opinions are my own.

Good clean - overpowering fragrance

I like the idea of the hygienic clean and I do believe it got my clothes very clean. But the fragrance is in-your-face overpowering. When clothes are clean - you don't need fragrance to mask anything. And definitely NOT the "original" Tide clean smell you get in the bottle. My nose started running while I was folding my clothes it was so strong. I'd be buying a ton more of this if the fragrance was a quarter of that it is now or unscented.

Noxious Smell

I am a lifelong Tide user. I have been using Tide 10X Liquid and 10X hygienic liquid in recent months with no issues. Tried 10X pods recently. The scent is noxious. You can smell the clothes when worn from 5 feet away. It is overpowering. First time I have ever complained about a Tide product. Covered with a rash.

The scent is awful

The scent of these pods is very chemical and caused my family to complain and me to rewash every item. This may be better at getting the dirt out, but it is unusable due to the overpowering and obnoxious scent. I wish Tide would bring back the ORIGINAL scent that was jettisoned about 5 years ago. It was light, bright, and didn't cause any allergic reactions. The rollout of this product reminds me of the introduction in the 1970s of the first liquid Tide, that made your clothes smell like a mildewed towel. This product is so disappointing.

Fragrance is overwhelming

I also found the fragrance to be overwhelming and had to rewash my sheets. Even then there was still a fragrance that I felt was too strong. I don't understand why companies have gotten to a place where they think if a little is good then more must be better. More cheese. More bacon. More fragrance. These reminded me of that body spray that so many young guys use that's so strong you can smell where they've been 5 minutes later. I also noticed that some items smelled like mildew when damp. Not pleasant at all.

Much too fragrant!

I am someone who is very meticulous about cleaning and what I put in my body. I regret buying this product and using it on my clothes and kitchen towels.
I used these Tide pods for a few hefty loads of laundry. I used one at a time and I always do an extra rinse to ensure there is no leftover detergent residue. Whilst folding my laundry, I immediately noticed the perfume like smell of original Tide. I felt the smell permeating from my clothes was very overwhelming. I decided to stick with it, only to find the smell easily transferred to other items and surfaces that came in contact with these clothes. My hands, skin, and even the items in my pocket smelled strongly of Tide. I am not sure how this product is considered safe. I am not comfortable with my personal items smelling like laundry detergent. I re-washed my towels because I feared the heavy duty chemicals would transfer to my food and contaminate it. I have serious doubts about the safety of this product.
