Awesome pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these mechanical pencils, and my kids love them even more! They were thrilled to get these right before school starting. The colors are vibrant and attractive, the lead writes smooth with no "squeaking" and erases cleanly. They aren't too large for my smaller child's hands, and she loves the colors and the comfort grip. She loved the pencils so much, she pulled out a book and started copying the words in the book just to have something to write with them! Awesome product - 5 stars!

Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves these pencils better than the ordinary number 2 pencils. I will agree as well since I feel my writing is much better with these pencils. My daughter loves that they are colored and not boring. Since school is starting back I gave her a pack and I kept one for myself. She knows that I got this product for free since I'm a bzzagent and I will only use these kinds of pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A long time fan of BIC's Velocity ink pens, I was overjoyed to receive these Velocity Mechanical Pencil. I know I should pass these on to the kids for school, but I just can't part with them. I did, however share one or two with my husband. I have to sketch whole houses for work, and these Velocity mechanical pencils are great. I don't have to worry about the lead breaking, or needing a sharpener, and the fact that you can add more lead/erasers as needed is awesome. These are tough with a good smooth lead, and I am in love. My husband, learning to fly planes, loves that these have a tab for him to hook his pencil into his knee board while in the air, making it easy access for quick notes while on the go. BIC has kept up their standard of quality with these mechanical pencils.

These pencils rock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was very excited to give these pencils a try. She is starting 7th grade soon and boring old pencil just don't cut it. She likes the colors, the extra lead, and extra erasers. She said they make her write neat lol. We went to a few stores to get some more to have at the house and was having a hard time finding them. I guess it's because they are new. We will keep on searching.

Good writing instrument, not so great eraser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am mathematics teacher so I use a lot of pencils. Although I don't require a specific kind of my students, I do personally like mechanical pencils over regular lead pencils. I found that the BIG Velocity writes really well! The lead is strong and durable. I can write legibly and the lead also doesn't run or smear like some lead. However, the eraser does not completely erase my many math errors. I have to still use a personal eraser to clean up my mistakes.
