Everything You Need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so frustrating to buy mechanical pencils and then need lead 2 weeks later. Or the eraser falls apart and the pencil become useless after only a few uses. Well now I don't have to worry about those things because BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils come with extra lead and erasers! The pencils write smoothly and evenly. The lead is strong enough that my kids aren't constantly breaking it. The colors are bright and cheerful and we are enjoying our free sample for review. I've passed them out to friends who seem to be enjoying them too. It's great to get everything needed in one package.

Teens love them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since we are all in back to school mode, I hosted an after school homework session for my daughter and her friends. I had them use different brands of mechanical pencils to compare and they all decided the BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils were the best! Unfortunately for my daughter, they all wanted to keep their sample so now she doesn't have has many!

High Marks for Bic Velocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family is mechanical pencil freaks! The kids prefer them at school as they never have to worry about sharpening them. After being chosen as a BzzAgent to try these pencils (#GotItFree), there was great anticipation for their arrival and they did not disappoint.
After enjoying them at home, the real test would be at school. After checking with my kids as well as the friends that they passed the extras out to, the concensus was mutual by all:
They love them! The most common comment is the smoothness of the lead as they write. Other pros are the color choices, the lead doesn't easily break and the effectiveness of the eraser. The only single complaint was that the lead was thicker than their liking. After a quick check on Bic's website, I saw that the pencil also comes in .9 mm and .5 mm so that it would work for anyone.
If you're looking for a good mechanical pencil, #BICVelocity is a fantastic choice that is readily found and reasonably priced.

Kids Favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so impressed with Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils. I love the way its so easy to write with them. The lead doesn't break easily and when it does, all you have to do is click the top and you have new lead. No need for a pencil sharpener. The eraser is very strong and holds up well. The pencils are easy for kids to hold on to. My kids loved these pencils and don't want to use any other kind.

Smooth writing mechanical pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are not like the old mechanical pencils we all know. These new BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are super comfortable to hold and write very smoothly. My biggest complaints about a standard mechanical pencil is the lead can squeak as you are writing and it breaks really easily. The lead in these pencils glide across the paper. Everyone in my family has staked their claim to a pencil and uses them all the time! The design looks like a ball point pen and there is a lot of support for the lead and I haven't had it break as easily as the other designs. Can it break, well sure, it is a thin piece of lead, but the pencil design is awesome! I like that there is a cap over the eraser keeping it nice and inline with the pen design. The extra erasers and lead it comes with is an added bonus. This is by far my favorite mechanical pencil!

Best back to school pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to receive this kit as I love mechanical pencils. My kids are a fan of using mechanical pencils and were excited about being able to test these ones out for the start of school. They are comfortable to use and write very clean, there was no scratch writing like other mechanical pencils and the eraser removes all of the markings very well. I think that Bic velocity mechanical pencils are superior to others on the market and I have bought and used quite a few!!! I also love the .7 lead because it does not easily break and it comes with extra lead and erasers.

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these pencils for several weeks and I love the long lasting lead. The colors are so fun and easy to spot on my messy desk. I love having the re-fills so I don't have to purchase new pencils each time. I typically use pencils that once they are out of lead they are tossed out. Normally I have tons of erasers that I have taken off the pencil before I throw them out because the lead never last very long. Rarely have I had the lead break while I am using it as I experience with the other pencils I have used. Great product!
