I have been using these notebooks for many years as my daily journal. I use each book for a year. On the last pages I keep a record of the books I have read and the movies I have seen. Now that I am in my 80's I don't remember things as well and these books are perfect for keeping these records of my daily life. The pages are well designed for my purpose. They are spacious and bright. I have been using these notebooks fora long time and recommend them to anyone who might have a similar purpose. They are sturdy and well made.

For your overachieving grade school child buy the College ruled composition Notebook by Staples. Same great product as the wide ruled variety with awesome color choices for the cover. If they love to write they may even fill it up and their English teachers who want to aspire future writers will even forgive them for being the children of parent rebels who bought an item that wasn't exactly what the list asked for. Be compassionate to your child's English teacher. Only buy this product if your little overachiever actually has neat handwriting.
