I must have gotten a very old bag or maybe they were exposed to the sun for a long period of time? Most feel stiffer than the rest and literally half of them break when stretched to only 75% of their capacity.

Simple but essential business items like rubber bands may seem trivial but a poorly packaged flimsy and tangled mess is often the case. These Staples brand rubber bands are excellent quality and nicely packaged. They remove easily and the resealable bag is a bonus.
