Customer Reviews for Staples - File Box File Portable Tote, Letter Size - Black

I needed a filing box to hold all my mother's important documents and paperwork related to her nursing home bills and care. I needed it to be portable so I could take the whole thing to appointments so I'd have any paperwork they needed handy. This holds 24 hanging file folders and their contents with room to spare. The box closes with a sturdy snapping mechanism. The handle is comfortable and well balanced for carrying. I like that it also has the top organizer which is great for pens paperclips and notepads.

Nice size and quality but on both boxes the plastic latch piece keeps snapping off.

This file box is great for the price but when opened the lid has a habit of detaching from the box...also the latch falls off quite a bit. Maybe I got a bad one? Other than that no complaints.

Spacey but the issue is with the connection tab on the front. It is poorly constructed and falls off all of the time. It's quite frustrating to open and keep on.

Good for when you don't have a file cabinet and need to have a small filing system for bills documents etc.

It is perfect. The storage in the lid is great for pens note pads paper clips etc. You can use regular file folders or hanging files. Good way to organize different projects.
