Carrying capacity less than other models. Top locking mechanism too tight- difficult to open. Cover designed to hold miscellaneous items like paperclips rubber bands and pens routinely falls off when you open. When you open the cover all the way and let if fall to the back it comes off its hinges.

The latch is a bit difficult to undo but not a deal breaker. It won’t become accidentally undone when carrying it that’s for sure. For occasional use it fits the bill.

I was please to receive delivery of 2 files that were used immediately for storing tax folder info. The files are sturdy but not too heavy so they are easily stored on a shelf in a closet. I prefer doing this rather than buying a file cabinet that is always in view. They are also big enough to use for various craft materials and it is easy to see the contents inside. I give this a total approval rating.
