Yes it is cheap. However if you are looking for a file box that you rarely have to touch and just want to store papers and files neatly in the house this is perfect. Not very sturdy but adequate.

This is what I was looking for but overpriced unless you can find it on a great sale and or add a coupon. Somewhat thin and flimsy. It will work but the number one problem is the way the front latch is built and designed to unlock difficult and even pops out when you try to open it which is not easy or smooth.

I've had older versions of this before. I need it for home paper storage. I can fit about 30-40 hanging file folders in it and about that many file folders so as not to weigh it down to much. I think the hinges need to be a little sturdier and this may not be viable for long term use. I use it for about 1-2 years and then swap out because the plastic wears down.
