I purchased to keep in my vehicle to transport work materials that I may need out in the field. It would be nice if it were a little sturdier but it function well enough. The only potential issue is the latch feels loose so I would be nervous about carrying it by the handle but mine stays buckled in to the back seat so it's a non-issue for me. Also the compartment in the lid doesn't latch very well at all (all of my pens dumped the first time that I opened it) but that's no biggie for me.

This item is not well made. As designed the latch is hard to maneuver and the top just bends as you try to latch and unlatch it. I do not recommend this if you are using it on a job site.
