We purchased these clips to use on our shed last year for the Christmas lights so we didn't have to use a ladder for the gutters. Wasn't sure if they would stick and stay on while being exposed to our brutal, cold winters here in Iowa. Not only did they stay on for the holiday and the rest of the winter, but we had a Derecho - an inland hurricane of 140 MPH winds - trees, power lines, traffic signals, and more came down and were destroyed - but our clips are right where they were originally placed and can still hold lights! If that isn't holding power, I don't know what is!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use these all the time around the house. We don't just use them for hanging lights, but used them on our front door (solid glass) to hang wreaths. I have to admit, it was my wife's idea but they work great anywhere we've used them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little fellows are awesome little helpers for running my Christmas lights outdoors and indoors. I used this particular product along my wooden fence last year and it held up all month long with no issues. I love how easy it is to apply and remove; and the clear transparency of it so during the day you can’t even notice what’s holding the lights up unless you come right up to it. Definitely a winner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girlfriend decided to redo the porch this summer and of course, that involved multiple strands of bright colors lights. These were the right tool for the job, giving her ability to hang lights where we hadn't had a way to. 5-10 minutes of my time, and she easily hung them right behind me. Had a few storms come through, high winds and heavy rain, and they're still in place. I think we'll leave them up and use them for Halloween and Christmas too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't tried it as I'm saving this for Christmas to hang Christmas lights outside the house windows. I liked how it was clear so it doesn't ruin the aesthetics of the Christmas lights or the window frames.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these to hang some Halloween decorations. So far they've been great. I like that they're clear so they aren't very noticeable or distracting. They haven't fallen down so far. I'm excited to use these at Christmas time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live right on the coast and I wanted to hang some lights on my porch. Thought I would try these vs having to nail in the bricks. They work like a charm! With the gulf elements they are holding up so far and now my porch looks awesome at night. Highly recommend these little gems. The real test will be when the next hurricane comes through, but they are great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These clips worked good, but can't take too much pressure. I used them to hold the extension cord. They would probably work really well to hold something like christmas lights. They were attached to the aluminum frame on my house. They held fine, unless I pulled on them or added extra weight. Again, something lightweight like christmas lights would be fine. The places where there was more weight I used multiple clips for those areas and then they worked fine. They seem to hold up in Florida weather...lots of sun and lots of rain.
