Glue does not hold up in the rain

I put these up on my house and when it rained all but 2 came down. They were very wet and had come loose because of the moisture. They might be okay in some parts of the country but not where you get rain and snow. I am disappointed that they did not work because it was such a great idea. And they are very expensive when you can't use them. I bought 4 packages and will be returning the unopened ones.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's Been Over a Year...Still Up!

I was skeptical when I first bought these to hang solar lights across my fence on the dark side of the house. I thought to myself "there is NO WAY these will hold up through all the seasons," even though I have never been disappointed in any of the Command products I use. Much to my surprise, over a a year later, they have survived torrential rains, snowstorms, very high heat and humidity, and gusting winds. How did you do that, 3M? I simply cleaned the small area of my 6 ft white fence where I was going to place the hooks, and followed the directions. I might add, the light string on my solar lights is a very, very fine wire. I had to put a small piece of tape over it to keep it in place, but that was not a big deal, and well worth it.

Terrible Dissapointment!

Outdoor would NOT stick at all to vinyl siding. Tried on PVD..no go..tried on aluminum nada....won't even stick to skin!

Don't stick!

We bought these to hang Christmas lights. We put them up and waited over an hour before trying to hang lights. As soon as we got the lights hooked it, every single one of the hooks fell! I will never buy these again!! DEFINITELY not worth the money I paid for them!!!!

Won't stay up

I bought the clear hooks for outside Christmas lights. Could not get them to stay. It was as if there was no adhesive on them. After many attempts went with clear packing tape.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Holiday FUN!!!

I have probably 500 of these that I use for Christmas decorating. Outside, inside, on vinyl siding, painted gutters (with uneven surfaces!), interior walls, several even treated with venetian plaster! EVERYWHERE!! I love these!! I find they work best if I stick them and let them sit for a few minutes before I hang something. Thanks Command!!
