Wow, they are still up after heavy rain

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ouI decorate my home every season,(Fall, Winter, Summer, Spring).I use these for indoor and outdoor decor. I have the same clips up for at least 3 years now without removing them and they have not let me down yet.

It All Comes Falling Down

I bought a set of these on sale from Target for the holidays. Instead of using them outside, I used them inside on my regular walls. I cleaned the surface and then stuck the hooks on and waited a bit before trying to hang up the lights. I noticed when adhering the strips to the walls that some were stickier than others. As I was admiring the lights, some of the hooks with the less sticky adhesives came off the wall taking the lights down with it. My friends and family who were also looking up got hit with the lights.
I have used other 3M Command strip products before and would recommend those to friends, but I would not for this particular product. Comparing the stickiness of the wall adhesive side to previous products I have used, it seemed old as if it had lost its stickiness. I was able to easily remove some hooks from the wall without even having to pull the tab, too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sixth year in row!

I first used these outdoor light clips to hang garland and lights around my front door which is partially protected by a porch the first Christmas in this house. Since they blended in with the white trim, I left the clips up over the summer. I am very pleased to say, I just put up my garland and lights for the sixth consecutive Christmas season! They are fabulous.

Command outdoor light clips LOVE THEM

I bought these to put lights up outside.Since we recently moved into our new home a few months ago and are now able to decorate with lights outside. They are great but from reading some of the reviews I wonder if some of these people didn't read the directions. Clean area with rubbing alcohol, attach the clips, one every TWO feet, and WAIT ONE HOUR before attaching lights. I followed the instructions to the letter and have not had any problems at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for plastic siding

Very disappointed

I use Command hooks for many things but had never used them outdoors. Never did I I didn't think for a moment that these outdoor light clips would be such a flop in more ways than one. I use command hooks for quite a number of things in my home. I went through every single one of the double stick tabs included with these outdoor light clips since quite a number of them wouldn't stick to the PVC rail at all. After much time, trouble and frustration the lights were finally hung around my deck. A few days later I noticed that a few of the clips had actually broken at the back of the curve where the lights sit inside the clip. I assumed that maybe someone had accidentally pulled at the lights at that point and that's why the clip had broken - that was not the case. The deck had not been in use and I noticed a few more clips broke at the same place on the actual clip. This continues to happen. I should have read the reviews first. I'm not surprised to see that most of the reviews on these clips are negative. I'm really disappointed - these things aren't all that cheap and I spent a lot of time putting them all in place only to have to continually monitor them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
