Used for Xmas lights cords and extension cord

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these outdoor light clips for hanging our Xmas light decorations and for outdoor extension cords. I believe them to have excellent holding strength. Once I have install them they stay on until I take down decorations after the Xmas holiday season is over. Use to have to use staples and/or nails. These damaged the wood siding. Best product for this use we have found.

Wanted to avoid holes on our lanai

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these. I sometimes ‘MacGyver’ things and although I bought these for lights I did not yet have I found another use for them. We are in sunny and often very humid West Coast of Florida. I love how perfectly this worked.

Did NOT keep patio lights up

I bought these to use on my balcony to hold up sting lights that have little plastic mason jars on them. I was sitting out on my balcony tonight and 2 of the command strips fell off causing the lights to come flying down & knocked over and shattered everything on my table(an expensive candle i just purchased, my Hookah, ash tray, & my full coffee which spilled on my fake grass rug that i now have to throw away) . Glass went flying everywhere. I am very lucky my two cats didnt get hurt & myself as it happened less than a foot in front of me. I am very dissatisfied with this product.

Did not keep patio lights up

I bought these this weekend. We live in a humid and hot area so that may be the cause but we strung patio lights up and even doubled up where we put light holder but they still fell down and even caused one strand to break.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Versatile low profile clips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these as part of a product review program. While these are intended to hold lightweight cords of string lights outside, I have found other uses as well. The Command adhesive used here is much stronger than the standard type, and you can feel this even when you are peeling the backing tape off. The hold is solid and the clear plastic is a bonus for concealment.

Doesn't work in our climate

I've been disappointed by Command products so many times that I ought to stop trying but no, I used these to hang lights on our front porch. The ones at the top of a hanging strand popped off in the rain yesterday. It's back to cup books outdoors for us.

Held during a 7.0 magnitude earthquake

This stained glass puffin has been hanging on our porch window for about a year with a command hook. Nov 30, 2018, we had a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. The command hook held like a champ!

Does NOT stick to painted wood surface

Purchased these from Target for outdoor Christmas lights. I followed the directions, wiping and drying the surface and then holding the clip for 30 seconds. As I put up the second clip though the first would fall right off. I tried several of the clips, but most fell off before the 1 hour "curing" time. This was for Christmas lights around my roof line, on painted wood. I guess these just don't work there. I've used indoor Command products with success, these outdoor ones just aren't working though.
