Time to decorate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Man, do I love these! 3m sent me a package for my review. My wife wants lights everywhere at Christmas and with a vinyl sided house, ever nail or hook could be an opportunity to ruin the siding. Command hooks hold the wire safely with enough tension to make a straight line so it doesn't look sloppy. 16 hooks and 20 strips is generous for the task though you'll probably want more than one to do the trick. One thing 3m, I wish you included an alcohol prep pad. That would be real handy.

outdoor light clips

Thank you, They are easy to put up and just as easy to take down. And they are cost effective. What a useful product!!! Thanks for thinking of the baby boomers....

Light clips for outdoors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light clips were perfect for keeping my deck lights up. I used the extra hooks on a wall to hand my jewelry up on. Small, clear and the perfect size to hang them on.
I haven't tried this yet but want to put a couple of these in my car to hang a small plastic garbage bag in. I think it should work because these are for outdoor and should take the different temperatures.

Every single one popped off.

I followed the instructions on these exactly. They worked great inside and on windows but every single 1 popped off the outside of the house. These should NOT be labeled as out door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A complete disappointment!

I had good luck with indoor clips last year and was excited to see an outdoor line, which I thought would allow me to put strings of mini-lights around my windows without using nails or otherwise causing damage. I followed the installation instructions carefully, but the adhesive does not stick to the aluminum cladding around the windows. Nearly all the clips popped off when I tried to install mini light strings. Temp at the time was around 45F. A waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
