The metal is thinner and these plastic railings are not holding up the file cabinets I am thinking about returning them hopefully they’ll make these cabinets like back in the old days. That will hold up and not collapse.

Arrived dented and while a discount was offered an initially accepted the top and side corner damage apparently warped the entire cabinet. Once we spent the entire day organizing and filling with our files the drawers would not pull out and kept twisting off the track. Essentially they twisted like rubber much like the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in the wind. Lightweight and useless. We returned it.

The outside housing was way too wide for the drawers. Thus the drawers did not side but fell to the bottom of the file cabinet.

Sliding mechanism is the absolute cheapest design and will not hold up to being weighted down by simply using it the way it is supposed to be use - to hold files. I believe after several days of supporting the weight of my files the drawers did not maintain their structure and I could not even slide open the drawers
