Was very happy to get this but when I put my files in it that's when it went downhill. The tracks that the drawers are on are small pieces of plastic. The drawers ran smoothly with nothing in them but add the weight of the files and it pulled all 3 drawers right out of the tracks. I didn't overfill the drawers I was going from a 2-drawer cabinet to a 3-drawer. This item went right back to the store. Also this is the 2nd time in about 6 months that I have bought a piece of office furniture from Staples that has been of poor quality and/or damaged.

This file cabinet is from a very poor quality. File drawers never open evenly and after less than a year of light use drawers are stack half closed and collapsed on one side. total waste of money

I purchased this file cabinet hoping to manage all my documents in one place. The cabinet is really bad quality and can’t hold many files. The drawers come out of the hinges fairy quickly. Within a week of purchasing the drawers were not opening/closing well. Do not waste your money purchasing this cabinet!!

"Extended Warranty?"

This is what the salesperson insisted when I bought this. I didn't heed her warning and I am full of regret. Can't open the bottom drawer at all middle drawer is skewed and won't close properly top drawer falls of the glider. I attempted to return but missed my 14 day window! Let me just say I believe the salesperson knew that this product was shoddy and I believe that is why she seemed very insistent that a warranty is a good idea. With this in mind is Staples being negligent in allowing this to continue to sell making an extra dollar by "insisting" on extended warranty no proper warning and without acknowledging the numerous complaints...I believe they are!
