Very lite weight the lock does not feel very secure. When the drawers are locked you can pull them open about a 1/2 inch and feels like you just have to give a good tug on the handle and the lock will break loose.

This is a decent file cabinet for a home office. Not necessarily for heavy routine in and out traffic of a normal business office. Color is nice and I really like the shallow top drawer. I use it to collect paperwork until I’m ready to file at a later time. It’s pretty handy since “my usual stack in waiting” is out of sight. It’s a good piece I’m glad I bought.
