This is a well constructed file cabinet. It appears to be both sturdy and spacious. My only concern: the file drawer handles could be stronger and easier to install.

I needed a small file cabinet and this one was half price. It is very basic but seems to be perfectly functional so it was a good value. Only problem was putting the drawer handles on. Make sure you have plenty of time and patience before you start.

I would not recommend this cabinet for anyone. It is very think flimsy metal. Not put together well. It was on sale and very inexpensive but truly you get what you pay for. Look for something better. It also came dented but really wasn't worth the time to return. I would have scored a zero star but it wasn't an option.

this u it with 2 file drawers and 1 shallow catch-all drawer is just what I needbesixe my home offic e desk. Onle 4 stars de to not very strong but suits my purpose well. Just need to treat it with a little care......no manhaning and slamming drawers etc. A very good product for the money. Happy with it.

Inexpensive but damaged

I couldn't resist the reduced price of this file cabinet but I was disappointed once it was out of the box to find that it was dented on both sides. Fortunately both drawers still opened so I didn't return it. The only other feature that I was a bit disappointed in was that the raised sides of the drawers (to allow for hanging files) we of a dimension that made the hanging files very tight from side to side. Again though for the purpose I purchased it it meets the need.
