[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape is very strong and sturdy. The only downfall i found is the tape is not clear. You cant use it to attach a shipping label to a box. It is an opaque color. Other than rhat, it is a great tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easily this tape dispenses. I've used several different packing tapes before, but his one glides very well. It does the job and stays sealed completely, which is what I need in this kind of tape.

Strong tape but not clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape seems thick and study and adhered nicely to the box. I took off one star because the tape is somewhat opaque and I was worried about using it to tape over the label as it made the label harder to read or scan. It would be nice if the tape was completely clear.

Tough Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scotch Brand Heavy Duty Recycled Packaging Tape with Dispenser as a free product to try from 3M Discover. I found the tape hard to start but once it started it worked great. It’s also not a clear tape. There is a haze to it but it fixed a plastic piece that had broken with no problem.

A true moving day save

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Something as everyday and average as tape would seem like brand would not matter but let me say this, after using an alternative brand trying to pack my mom’s house up to move I am a forever fan of the scotch brand tape. Starting with the dispenser, the tape doesn’t get tangled! It stays smooth and easy to handle the entire time, no wasted product trying to get it unstuck from the roll or the dispenser. The tape itself holds perfectly, it is tough, it does not lift, and no matter what we shoved into a box it did not break. Don’t waste your money on anything else, this is your winner.

Handy package tape with a dispenser
on March 4, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of the Scotch® Heavy Duty Recycled Packaging Tape for my honest review. This tape uses recycled plastic, which looks slightly cloudy on the roll, but is clear when put on a package. The tape holds securely and is easy to cut with the built in cutter on the red dispenser. I had no problems cutting and applying the tape to the package.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tape. The holder it is in is so easy to use. It is easy to use and it cuts very well with the built in cutters. The tape unrolls easily and sticks very well. It is definitely my go to tape. I will definitely continue to use and recommend to friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is definitely strong-very thick. It adhered great to the envelope I needed to seal without sticking before I wanted it to and so clear not even noticeable The cutter was easy to use and worked efficiently-straight clean cut.
