Re-positional Strong Tape That's 100 % Recycled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is great that I can feel better about using a packaging tape because this Scotch brand tape is 100 percent recycled. I also like how well it sticks to cardboard without lifting off. Plus its re-positional. I did have a hard time starting the roll because it kept tearing. Once I cut the silver starter strip on the tape, it was impossible to tear. The tape is very strong. I am happy 3M gave me a free sample of this product to use and evaluate. I plan on buying more of this Scotch brand packing tape in the future.

Good Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product arrived at an opportune time. I'm in "spring" cleaning mode. I've taped boxes for giveaway, storage, and to be determined. So far, all the boxes have held up to being moved here and there, kept in the car for a few days in extremely cold weather. No seam failures. This was fairly easy to use only a slight learning curve.

Appreciate Recycled - But "cloudy"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, there is nothing wrong with the functionality of this 3M Heavy Duty Recycled Packaging Tape. It seems like strong tape. It is sometimes a challenge to get off the roll, but that happens with many heavy duty tapes. The advertising language for the tape labels the tape as "frosty", and it certainly has that cloudy appearance. I'll trust when 3M indicates that you can put this over a barcode and it will still scan, but I tried the tape on a number of different surfaces and it definitely isn't 'clear' tape. I do appreciate that the tape is made from 100% recycled plastic, which probably accounts for the cloudy look of the tape.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Scotch Heavy Duty 100% Recycled Packing Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This roll of Recycled Heavy Duty Super Strong Packing Tape is working wonders as we pack books up. The tape is very durable in rainy weather it holds to the boxes and there is no change like other tapes, it holds tight

Works very well with large or heavy boxes as it prevents tearing or opening. The clear features are great. Use over labels or addresses to prevent water damage while en route.

Super strong

It handles moving boxes with ease and even works for temporary home repairs. It tears super easy as well, which came as a surprise when comparing to other products I've tried in the past.

Not real sticky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tryed this heavy duty tape. First I had trouble findind end, had a strip of paper in it but it blended in with the tape. Then it kept peeling apart and had to keep pulling pieces up to get one whole strip. Then i attached it to the box I wanted to use on and it was not very sticky, kept pressure to get it yo stick.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this Heavy Duty Recycled Packing Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited when 3M sent me this tape to try. I have long been a fan of their regular packing tape and it has gotten us through several big moves and sent many a package to friends and family. This tape is not quite as clear, but you can still see through it. It is thicker than their normal tape. However, that thickness keeps it from folding as much and I didn't have any issues with the tape sticking to itself. I used it to wrap a package to my daughter in law and it adhered beautifully. Plus it is recycled? Winner-Winner!
